LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James, he's widely thought of as the best player of all-time and often compared Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketball player of all time. James was awarded two Olympic gold medals as well as four NBA titles. James has the world record of having the top score of points in the post-season. He is second in total career point total and seventh the most assists in his career. The NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, which is a record. He was also selected to make the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. He was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of these were consecutive between 2011 through 2018. James was named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team for 2021. He was the NBA's first player with 10,000 points, 10 rebounds and an assist in 2022. James played for St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located in his home town from Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media as a future NBA superstar. In 2003, his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft as a pro-to-prep. He was voted as the NBA player of the year for 2004. Soon he became one of the premier athletes of the NBA as he won the NBA MVP Award twice in the years 2009 and 2010. James, who did not be crowned the champion in Cleveland, in the year 2010, quit as a free-agent and joined his team the Miami Heat. This was revealed by the book The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a free agent in sports time.
