Anamaria Marinca, a Romanian-born actress. She received an award called the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress for The Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. She is fluent in French, German English, and Romanian. Her father, a theatre professor at one of Romania's top theater schools, also a theatre teacher. She was awarded with the Best Female Actor Award in 2000, for her performance in the Mangalia Gala of Young Actors. Aside from her brilliant role in Sex Traffic Anamaria Marinca is most famous for the role she played in the Romanian artist-directed film 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days. This film won several awards, including an award called the European Film Award Best Actress from the The London Film Critics. In 2007, she starred as a character in the Romanian film 4 luni 3 semaines si2 (4 Months, 3 Weeks 3 Weeks, 3 Weeks, 2 Days), composed by Cristian Mungiu. The film received two prizes at the Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize from the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also a part of her work. She played Yasim Awar in the BBC's 5 episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca had roles in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well the Romanian film Boogie. Later she played the role of Irma's German Aunt in Fury the film, which came out in 2014.
