Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a famous American singer and actor. She was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. She is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. Her family ancestry includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish as well as Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her talents in the world of entertainment when she was just a teenager. In 1992, she was awarded her first acting role in her audition in Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell was accepted by her mother as an agent at the age of was only 13 years old. Then, she was chosen for the newspaper advertisements and commercials on TV. In the same year Bell also started classes in acting. Bell was in a role of minor importance, uncredited for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell participated in the Drama and Music Club at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school and she won the part of Dorothy. Bell studied music theatre in the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell left the university in 2001 to take on the character of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. That was the same year that she also had her first credit debut in Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and her character was not shown in the credit sequence. Bell appeared together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
