Cindy Crawford

CindyCynthia Ann Crawford was born on the 20th of February, 1966. She is an American model, actress and TV personality. In the 80s and 90s, she was a popular supermodel with a prominent appearance in magazines and runways as well as in fashion campaigns. Then, she branched out into the business world and acting. In her sophomore year at high school, she received a call from a local store regarding modeling work and was shocked to find out it was a prank by two students. Crawford was hired by another retailer the following year to do a modeling job for them. The store also hosted an event for fashion. Roger Legel, a local photographer, approached Crawford to shoot her. He was responsible for photographing another college girl in DeKalb Nite Weekly. Crawford was chosen as the first photo shoot. The image and the favorable feedback received from her were enough to encourage her to begin modeling. She began her career with a small agency. Elite Model Management bought it right after she signed. She was a participant in Elite's Look of the Year contest in 1983 , aged 17 and made it to the national finals.
